This center stand is proof you get what you pay for. Unlike most things you order this fit exactly how it was supposed to. Ten minute install with all parts fitting perfect. The spring will be tough for most people to install but with the help of my brake tool it was easy. Fast shipping also. I would recommend this stand.

This item should have been standard equipment on the bike. Thanks for providing this service T-Rex. Install went well and working great so far. Brake spring tool is best for installing the springs.

4 of 5 CTX 700 CenterStand April 26, 2020

The stand arrived quickly and packaging was better than usual.  The installation was not too difficult, but took some creative thinking. The left side bolt and bushing was pretty easy....however the right side was very tricky.  Space was at a minimum and just pure persistence paid off.  With the bike held vertical, space was critical to use wrenches to tighten everything. Now came the "springs" !  The video made it look pretty darn easy. I used my old drum brake spring tool. It is made to do that job, however never with 2 springs at once. The first attempt I got the  large spring on, but the small spring had no room on the stud and jumped off. I used a cable tie to keep the large spring hook tight back on the stud and slid the small spring on to the stud with the tool.  If I had not had the brake spring tool I could still be trying to figure a way.

Installation is problematic without bike being elevated, spring is impossible, you will not have sufficient height from the ground for a tool that is long enough for the leverage required to slip the spring on to the posts.  I did it with a rachet strap on the swing arm to pull the spring back to the post. The completed installation did not fit as neatly as in the video.  The pads on the upper bracket and the stand on the left hand side did not line up like in the video, some rubbing on a clamp on the exhaust pipe, so that may require adjustment.  It is also challenging when using the stand to get the bike on to the stand, it requires substantial effort to get it up on the stand, but this may become easier with practice. The customer service was willing but not that knowledgeable as to the issues. The stand will install on the CTX700N and function as represented, but consideration should be given to the issues of installing the spring as that part is a substantial challenge.
