This purchase is for a rear swingarm axle slider that designed to protect your bike's swingarm in the event of a low-side. It allows the rear axle and swingarm to slide on the aluminum slider. The installation is a simple bolt on piece. The piece has two set screws on either side of the item. Once they are loosened and removed the two halves come apart. As you can tell by the pictures above the bottom threaded half contains a special key that allows you to remove the stock rear swingarm axle cover. There is a 26 mm hex head on the top and bottom of the piece (pictured above) This allows you to both tighten the slider to the swingarm and remove the stock axle cover. The stock rubber o-ring must be reused in the install. The bolts are made of the highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength). The plates are made of billet aluminum. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.
