I purchased the upper and lower crash bars first and decided to grab the skid plate after. It goes on easy, maybe 1 hour of effort, and looks great too.
Shipping was really quick and I had great customer service in my 1 call to T. rex.

I like the look of the plate and how well it is made. The shortfall occurred when none of the supplied brackets would fit my bike as it is stock. I did contact customer service and was informed that the brackets are not meant for stock crash bar applications. Fortunately I have done fabrication for a living and was able to cut / bend / weld and alter the supplied brackets to get the plate to work. It looks nice and it will protect very well. Again, no place in the description of the item does it state that you need to buy T-Rex crash bars to install the skid plate.
