Nice engine guard but.... October 23, 2023 Reviewer: Yanhao from MA   I mean this is a really well made engine guard and very sturdy. I had it go on a tough trail ride and drop the bike for 5-6 times, there's nothing on the bike even a scratch. But I found that the latest arrived engine guard has the problem of huge gaps between the plastic slider and the fairing. I got it mount right, and gave it a right torque. I sent a video to T-rex and they said it is mount right, which means it's normal for yo have a gap.... But stuffs are very friendly, and I still recommended to buy this. Needs some modifications September 20, 2023 Reviewer: Andy from Rocky Mountains Colorado   I purchased these for my 2023 KLR650 ADV w/ABS  because they are the only ones that I could keep my existing light bar and lower crash bars that I paid good money for when I bought the bike. My big gripe is I had to notch the existing skid plate brackets at the top to accommodate the bars in order for the bolt holes to line up. Further modification was done to my stock skid plate to squeeze in behind the bars. A little tip if you have a 2023 with OEM brake line bracket that they say remove and zip tie the lines. You can turn it upside down where it is below the bracket and mounting point but it’s tough to get the bolt(now facing the engine) back into place with the new bars installed. Just do it before you install the right side bars. Overall it looks great and fits with my existing Adventure package. Was this review helpful to you?

Awesome Product and Service July 28, 2023 Reviewer: RichardS. from Montana   The Customer Service is second to none.  Ruben and Jackie are amazing folks who do amazing work.  The Cage fit and finish is excellent, welds look nice/complete and the overall build quality is excellent.  The Cage was very easy and quick to install (one beer max!).  I have an Enduro Engineering skid plate and cut the top half off to make it fit with this cage.  For reference,  my KLR is a 2023 base model Was this review helpful to you?

Very Satisfied April 24, 2023 Reviewer: Pete Morana from New York   I think these Bars are the best looking for the Adventure model very tough look. Let me say i'm not the most confident mechanic mostly because i have no garage and have to work in the street so if I mess up i'm screwed. After reading and watching some install reviews I was a little worried. I had no serious problems installing these at all and my stock skid plate and stock lower guards where not an issue at all. Together with my T Rex Hand guards I really like the way my 2022 Adventure KLR650 looks. Keep up the great work T Rex! Was this review helpful to you?

2023 KLR 650 Adventure April 20, 2023 Reviewer: Benjamin Harrison from PENCIL BLUFF, AR United States   The right rear side of the engine guard cannot be attached due to original equipment that is attached to the frame. The original equipment was unable to be moved. I have a photo but there doesn't seem to be any way to attach it here. Was this review helpful to you?

Super bummed out October 20, 2022 Reviewer: Ryan Lewis from Commiefornia   First off, let me just say that when it comes to being stout, protective, and secure, These are by far the best crash bars for a KLR, And the only crash bars with 4 mounting points. HOWEVER: They do not fit with almost ALL other aftermarket skid plates (OR STOCK)!!!! I spent a pretty penny on enduro engineering skid plate, and its not even close to fitting. I now have to go pay to get it cut just to fit the bike. I had to cut the stock skid plate to get it to fit. I love these bars, but I'm very disappointed that the fitment of skid plates is limited to trex's own skid plate. Was this review helpful to you?

Do It Once, Do It Right. T-Rex Is The Way September 19, 2022 Reviewer: Peter from Litchfield , ME United States   T-Rex has done it again with this set of bars. Lightweight, yet super strong and is very cleanly compatible with the factory engine bars on my 22 Adventure. Install was very simple. The color, fit and finish are top notch to the point that these look like they came from the factory. Between the T-Rex HD Skid plate, the factory lower engine bars and this set of T-Rex upper crash bars on my bike,  I have zero worries about damage. I did my homework and am glad I did. Top of the line strength, fit and finish July 23, 2022 Reviewer: Paul from Colorado   Fed Ex dropped off the bars today and I promptly installed. The quality was as good as I anticipated and they are solid. If you don’t have a set of bars yet do yourself a favor and wait for these to come back into stock and when they do order fast. The last batch sold out in about an hour. Don’t make my mistake and order a different brand because they were in stock. They broke from vibration in only a couple hundred miles.
