When I opened the box I saw loose hardware in the bag that covered the bubble wrapped guard, so I was concerned that I might be missing hardware or I had extra that didn't belong, but once I opened the rest of the packaging around the guard I found that the bag with the hardware in it was cut open which allowed the hardware to float around loose in the large bag. Once I reviewed all the required hardware I confirmed I had everything I needed. The paper instructions are of no value, the video is what you need to use, even that was a little on the weak side, especially for the U shaped bracket which has a notch in it, but nothing in the video mentions what position that notch should be in, so I tried it both ways to see which would provide the flattest mounting point. It's a nice guard, really provides good protection.
