This purchase is for a set of engine guards for the above bike model. The 1" steel tubing is bolted to the sub frame of the bike with two attachment points on each side, preventing them from rotating in the event of a low side. The guards also feature aircraft grade aluminum skid plates that can be inexpensively replaced without needing to purchase a new set. Think of them as protection for your protection. We use highest grade commercially available 12.9 (177,000 psi in tensile strength) wherever possible. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.

4 of 5 Good, but. Saturday, September 26, 2026

Crash bars look great, are very sturdy but please do not torque the M8s to 35 ft lbs. It is a trend that T-Rex Racing has no idea how tight you can make their fasteners. Torque their m8s to 30ft lbs and put locktite on them. Torque them to 35 ft lbs and you will be reaching out to customer service asking them to mail you another motor mount.
