Not compatible with my seat and Viking bags	September 4, 2025

It's a really nice looking luggage rack (better looking than the OEM one, in my opinion), that looks great when installed. The material is very thick and rigid. Unfortunately, it pinches the back of my seat when installed correctly (long reach seat). I double checked the installation instructions to make sure I did it correctly. Also, It doesn't allow me to open my Viking saddle bags properly, so I can't fit bulky stuff in there with this luggage rack installed. I normally store my bike cover in a saddle bag. Due to the return policy, I've opted to leave a lukewarm review instead of returning it. I'm surprised that this rack is shown on bikes with saddle bags installed. Maybe those use a different mechanism for opening.

This rack would be perfect if it had a few extra holes up top to adjust the mounting position and a hole to be able to pull the seat bolt without taking off everything. The back bolt you can take off without removing the plate but, the seat bolt is completely blocked by the plate. It would also be nice if there were a second set of holes to move the top plate back away from the seat a little bit. When I put it on the plate was pushing into the seat so I had to put some washers under the plate to raise it up off the seat.

The Givi case and all the hardware was a bit of a pain in the butt to install but everything was super easy. Love it and it’ll work great for what I need it for. I’ll always choose T-rex for my bike needs.
