This purchase is for a pair of case sliders or case covers that helps protect your bike in the event of a low-side. The covers are made of UHMW-PE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene), a tough plastic with good strength, wear resistance and dimensional stability. It is more dimensionally stable than Nylon and used in many industrial ball bearing and friction reducing applications. They can be inexpensively replaced in case of a low-side. The bolts are made of highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength). Rest assured that you are getting the best material and fully thought out product.

5 of 5 Buell Helicon Case Covers (1125R thru 1190SX) November 11, 2023

These 2014 - 2016 Erik Buell Racing 1190RX / 1190SX Engine Case Covers are a perfect fit for my 2008 1125R, as the only difference in these Helicon engines are the bore size.  
As expected, these case covers bolt on for a perfect fit with absolutely no modifications.  Following the installation instructions, I used Orange Lock-tite when installing the supplied (longer) bolts.  Take your time and torque the bolts in multiple stages.
Once installed, the covers look and fit the Helicon Engine like they are original equipment.
My only suggestion or wish is that the supplied longer grip-length bolts are socket head cap screws, I wish they were matching OEM fasteners Torx #25 heads.

I am leaving part of my original review as a testimony. When you first get your clutch cover it wont align right away. If its not bolted it does not fit, but that is because of how tightly its actually engineered. Fit and finish is amazing. BUT be careful take your time!! Go in sequence while tightening your bolts and do not rush ! Yet it will feel like its not deep enough but it is, it actually molds itself when you start working your way tightening it. Once you are done though.... ITS AMAZING !! it truly feels and looks like it will do exactly what it is designed to do !!

The clutch cover does NOT fit!! It is not even close! when you align the protector to the clutch cover there is around 3mm gap between protector and the clutch cover where the bolts should fit. What it looks like is that the protector is not deep enough to fit over the clutch cover so no matter how much I tried I was not able to make it work....
