This purchase is for a pair of front axle sliders that help protect your bikes front fork in case of a low-side. It allows the fork to slide on the plastic puck instead of the fork itself. The installation is a simple bolt on with the bar going through the axle and one plastic puck on each side. The sliders are made of UHMW-PE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene), a tough plastic with good strength, wear resistance and dimensional stability. It is more dimensionally stable than Nylon and used in many industrial ball bearing and friction reducing applications. The bolts are made of highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength). The long bar is made of billet aluminum. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available. The frame sliders that you will receive will most likely be the ones pictured above. However, due to constant improvement, the frame sliders can sometimes vary slightly from those in the picture.

1 of 5 Bad design February 4, 2022
Reviewer: Steve Johnson from VA
I am very disappointed in the T-Rex front axle slider,  after receiving this as a Christmas gift it is unlikely I will return them but the design for the FZ09 is poorly thought out.  The threaded rod is simply not long enough.  If you bottom out the threaded rod in either direction it won't be long enough for the opposing side bolt  to reach the threaded end.  If this problem isn't enough, in order to get the rod to reach the other end you have to back the rod off of one side by unscrewing it, then when you try to thread the other side the rod spins resulting in one side or the other having little to no threads in it, and honestly there is no way to know if the rod is spinning or how much threading has made it inside the rod.... This is a bad design that cound have been easily sloved by making the threaded rod a bit longer.  I do not recommend this product.

5 of 5 Perfect fit. Top quality August 4, 2020
Reviewer: Jacob P. from North Georgia
I ordered these for my 2019 Tracer 900. Fitment was spot on, and they truly seem like a quality product. Would 100% recommend them. I like how the slider is a little longer on these compared to other front axle sliders.
