This purchase is for a set of engine guards for the above bike model. The steel tubing is bolted to the subframe of the bike. The steel tubing has multiple attachment points preventing them from rotating in the event of a low side. It is ideal for engine guards since it can absorb more impact force onto itself and therefore reduce the impact on the bike. These new engine guards also feature replaceable skid plates that can be inexpensively replaceable if needed. No need to purchase a new kit after an accident. Think of them as protection for your protection. We use highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength) wherever possible. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.

2 of 5 Honda 300L Rally Install January 6, 2024
Reviewer: Aaron May from Parker, CO United States
The install was fairly easy.  The paint scratched very easy. Even on the lower tubes so hitting anything will take off the paint.  My biggest concern is how this cage is mounted. I do not feel like anything is holding this in place from rotating forward. If there is an impact from the rear this cage will more than likely be pushed against the front tire or jam into something else and break the plastics. The major issue with this cage  is the radiator on the 300L Rally is hitting the cage. I tried to put some padding on the bar but it will wear at the radiator causing it to leak and fail and need replacement. So now I’m stuck with what to do with this lower cage . I’ll be reaching out Monday and see if they have a fix.
