4 of 5 Works as advertised, but cheap nuts/bolts January 7, 2024

When installing the stand, I torqued the bolts as instructed. Two of the bolts stripped out before the specified ft/lbs. Had to go to local hardware store to get more. Should come with grade 8 nuts and bolts. These ones are made out of soft cheap metal. Once reinstalled though, works great. Didn’t want to compromise on hardware, since the footpegs need to be trusted to support riders body weight, and the stand should be trusted to hold up the 500 lb bike.

5 of 5 Burly Brand Stiletto shocks and T-Rex center stand January 30, 2023

I already had Burly Brand Stiletto shocks on my Rebel 1100 when I installed the center stand. The shocks increase the travel enough so that when the bike is on the center stand the rear wheel does not come off the ground. Bummer. For chain maintenance I will have to put something under the stand to raise the rear wheel.

Great item, it was not easy to install. The video makes look easy, but the video is edited, take your time installing it. It will fit perfectly but tricky to fit specially on the center of the bike frame. Two good things to notice and I asked on their youtube channel but never got a response: once it's stands, the rear tire will be off the ground by around 1/2 inch. Enough for the chain cleaning/lubrication and other services needed. The other good thing, to stand the bike it's not that hard but it's a heavy bike so the concern will be there before purchasing the center stand, just pick up the bike from the rear frame of the seat and push the bike forward, the stand spring also helps for the process. This item is highly recommended if you use center stands

The stand was packaged nicely and came with all needed hardware and instructions. You would do well to have the video up and running, as we did, to help you install the stand. You will have to do a little bit of finagling to get some of the bolts in but with patience, trust me it fits. Took about 2 hours to install.
