This purchase is for a set of engine guards for the above bike model. The steel tubing has two mounting points on each side to prevent them from rotating in the event of a low side. It is ideal for engine guards since it can absorb more impact force onto itself and therefore reduce the impact on the bike. The guards feature two replaceable aircraft grade aluminum skid plates that can be inexpensively replaced when needed. Think of them as protection for your protection. No need to purchase a new cage. We use highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength) wherever possible. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.
