This purchase is for a set of engine guards for the above bike model. The engine guards feature new aluminum skid plates which can be inexpensively replaced without purchasing a new set of steel guards. The steel tubing is bolted to the engine mount of the bike. The steel tubing has three attachment points and braced together to prevent them from rotating in the event of a low side. We use highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength) wherever possible. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.

5 of 5 First time TRexer April 16, 2022

Having purchased other brand products in this category I must say these engine crash bars are just as good fit and finish as others I've purchased at twice or more the price. I am so pleased I returned and purchased the highway peg set for these bars. I would also like to add (because I was concerned reading a previous review). I've been track racing motorcycles for 15 years. The fact that the right crash bar hangs below the right peg feeler is not a concern. I ride my concours harder than most people have the skill to. For that crash bar to touch the ground you would have to ride off the edge of the rear tire. These are absolutely the best deal for crash guards for the kawasaki concours. Buy them you won't regret it!

5 of 5 I won't ride without TRex May 26, 2021

I originally installed T Rex bars because we practice slow speed manuevers and it is common to drop your bike when I pushing yourself....which they do an awesome in protecting all fairings and parts.

But, more importantly, these bars saved me from serious injury in an accident recently. Someone turned left in front of me. I swerved but still made contact with the rear of the vehicle. My front T Rex bar took the majority of the impact and saved my right side from further, more serious, injuries. I did have a puncture wound to my right shin and broken collarbone but without these bars, my entire right side would have taken all off the impact, or worse.

I have already ordered a set for my next bike. I won't ride without them. People do not watch out for us, well worth the money to help save your own life.

Concerned about right hand crash guards hits way before feeler on foot peg.  Concerned about levering bike off it’s wheels.  ðŸ˜
