5 of 5 Excellent Windshield after a minor modification. March 11, 2026

I received this windshield the other day and it was packed exceptionally well.   All parts were accounted for when I unsealed everything.   I watched the video and read the directions and mounted the brackets loosely to get the wind screen lined up with the holes in the brackets.   I have large fingers and I found it quite hard to get the washer and lock nut on the upper brackets and kept dropping them.   This is where the slight modifications came into play.   I removed the brackets and drilled out the holes to allow me to install a rivnut that fit the M6 bolts supplied.   Once I pressed those into place it was a piece of cake to install the windshield as all I had to do was insert the bolts and just screw them into the brackets.  I also added a small drop of blue lock-tite to each bolt to keep them from ever vibrating out.   I am looking forward to being able to mount my GPS on the cross bar that is provided with this bracket set up.
