I put these links on my 2023 XSR900. I'm 5'6 with a 30" inseam, so the links make it so I can now put my left foot flat on the ground at lights. I was hesitant because some people online say don't do lowering links because it'll ruin the handling and the ride. I'm happy to report those people are wrong. I noticed very little difference in normal everyday street riding. The bike still leans and turns the same as before, or it's so close the difference isn't an issue at all. The rear suspension still feels fine and still has plenty of travel. I tested it on trails and I never bottomed out the rear suspension. On low speed turns I feel like the bike actually handles better because the center of gravity is a bit lower. No regrets! If you're a shorter rider and you're thinking about it, do it!
