This purchase is for a set of frame sliders for the above bike model. The sliders feature a new design of a complete solid puck without a hollowed-out center. This increases the strength and contact surface to about 30%. The brackets are bolted to the engine mount and the aluminum spacer is bolted to the bracket. The slider puck is then screwed on to the spacer. The brackets have two attachment points preventing them from rotating in the event of a low side. The puck material are made of UHMW-PE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene), a tough plastic with good strength, wear resistance and dimensional stability. It is more dimensionally stable than Nylon and used in many industrial ball bearing and friction reducing applications. Compared to Delrin, it is softer but tougher. Delrin is harder but more brittle. It is an ideal material for slider since it can absorb more impact force onto itself and therefore reduce the impact on the frame and engine. The slider pucks can be inexpensively replaced in case of a low-side. We use highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength) wherever possible. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.

5 of 5 Really well made frame sliders December 27, 2022
Reviewer: Jared morin from central, SC United States
After a lot of research, I came across these. I was looking for some thing, extremely sturdy something that would bend and provide ample protection. I purchased these, and when I got them, they seem to be made extremely well, all parts fit easily. I am very happy with them.

5 of 5 Great Frame Sliders August 28, 2021

I have had to use these a few times over the past 6 years unfortunately and they work great. The latest, was slamming on my brakes with my wheel turned because someone was coming at me in the wrong lane while I was pulling out (long story). In any case no ABS and all the weight transferred to the front and with the wheel turned it just leaned over. Amazingly I only had a small basically unnoticeable scratch on the end of my mirror. The bodywork was completely untouched and I am pretty meticulous with my bike. Absolutely worth it for this one instance alone. I would recommend them.

These are really good sliders, luckily have not got to test them, hopefully never have to, but I would buy these again. Was a small glitch with order didn't recieve all peices, but customer sales rep made it right. The quality of these gave me enough confidence to order a stand set.
