This purchase is for a set of bottom engine guards for the above bike model. The lower guards feature a total of 6 mounting points to increase its strength, spread impact, and prevent them from moving / rotating. They are also braced together in the middle further increase the strength of the guards. The engine guards features new aluminum skid plates which can be inexpensively replaced without purchasing a new set of steel guards. Think of them as protection for your protection The engine guards are also compatible with our (N12-10SP) skid plate which were designed to protect your bike from dirt and other debris. We use highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength) wherever possible. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.
