The purchase is for a set of engine guards for the above bike model. The engine guards feature removable skid plates can be inexpensively replaced without purchasing a new set of steel guards. The guards have two attachment points on each side and braced together to prevent them from rotating in the event of a low side. The engine guards are also braced together by a crossbar in order to further increase its strength. We use highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength) wherever possible. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.

Install was harder than it should have been, because Honda really like to over tighten bolts.  Have to find someone with an impact to loosen.  After that, install was pretty simple.  A few days ago I got to try them out when a lady pulled out in front of me.  Only damage was her front rim where it contacted the skid plate on the bars.  I have lights mounted to the bars and the left side was moved a bit, but now damage to bike other than material from her rim left on skid plate.  Overall, very happy and will be installing a set on my CB500X, correct model of course.
