This purchase is for a set of engine guards for the above bike model. The engine guards have four attachment points preventing them from rotating in the event of a low side. It is ideal for engine guards since it can absorb more impact force onto itself and therefore reduce the impact on the bike. We use highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength) wherever possible. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.

Skid Plates

Our guards feature aircraft grade aluminum skid plates that can be inexpensively replaced. We don't want you to crash or tip over, but in the event that this does happen, we want you to be able to just pick up the bike with peace of mind knowing that your investment is protected. No need to worry about replacing your cage. Think of it as protection for your protection.

Options

The cages provide space for the option to mount lights and other accessories that are compatible with mounting on the tubing.

Sure, you loose some lean angle. But at the end of the day, this is a cruiser, not a sport bike. I'm 1000% willing to sacrifice some lean angle for the insane protection this provides. It sticks out WAY further than anything else. Looks extremely well built. AND it has awesome REPLACEABLE skid plates. So not only will the bars not get messed up if I do lean to far. I can replace the skid plates so it looks like nothing happened. Get these!!!

Installed on a 2025 Rebel 1100T. The bar clamps are a bit tight around the radiator but installation is doable. I wish they would come out far enough to cover the brake and shifter but they will help minimize damage if the bike does fall. I used the T-Rex bars on my other bike and they saved it when I didn't get the kickstand set. These are very well built and worth every penny! It honestly took me longer to unbox/unwrap the bars than to install them. Just buy them, you wont regret it

I am thoroughly impressed with the build quality of these crash guards and the professionalism of the company. The attention to detail in everything from the welds to the packaging to the inclusion of the helpful how-to video is second to none. My buddy is a motorcycle mechanic and a welder and he was super impressed with the product. My only regret is not putting them on my 2025 Rebel 1100T sooner. Unfortunately, I dropped my bike the day they arrived in the mail and then put them on ASAP.

One thing to note for the 2025 model is that to the best of my understanding, the guards don't extend far enough to protect the brake and clutch pedals. Not sure if this is the case for previous models, but thought it might be helpful to include this detail. Still happy with my purchase and rate the product a perfect 5 stars.

5 of 5 Best engine guards for the Honda Rebel 1100T February 14, 2025

These guards saved my bike during a drop in the parking lot. I had literally just got these installed, and within a week I had dropped the bike. As I was pulling into the driveway of my local bank, which was uphill, a car came in speeding towards the exit. I tried to avoid the car and maneuvered out of the way, but did a panic brake just as I cleared him, and it caused the bike to drop on it's side. I was crushed, and thought that my bike was surely damaged. To my surprise, the bike didn't get a scratch and the bars held together perfectly. They did have some very minor scuffs on the base plate of the bars, but those are replaceable. In the end, the bars paid for themselves on that drop. None of us ever intend to have these accidents, but I promise you that you'll regret it if you don't have these bars.
