This purchase is for a set of engine guards for the above bike model. The engine guards feature new aluminum skid plates which can be inexpensively replaced without purchasing a new set of steel guards.The steel tubing is bolted to the engine mount of the bike and the slider puck is bolted onto it. The steel tubing has three attachment points on each side to prevent them from rotating in the event of a low side. The engine guards are braced together by a crossbar in order to increase its strength. We use highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength) wherever possible. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.

These bars are great and fit perfectly. The instruction video was helpful and it took me less than an hour to install. Would have been less than 30 min if the left side engine spacer hadn't given me trouble. They look good and are sturdy. The front bars could make an excellent fog light mount.
