This purchase is for a passenger backrest/grab bar/luggage rack all in one kit for the above bike model. The grab bar feature a removable backrest and luggage rack. The luggage rack also provides mounting points for straps and bungee cords. The steel tubing has two attachment points and braced together to prevent them from rotating in the event of a low side. We use highest grade bolt commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength) wherever possible. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.

Since the piece had no reviews at the time I purchased it, I bought it based on trust in the description and the pictures shown. The construction is solid, and the main materials are of good quality. The backrest cushion feels comfortable when you recline against it. However, the provided hardware could be of better quality — it feels cheap. There are some fabrication issues I didn’t appreciate, such as a mismatch in distance from the bike, which forced me to spread the bars about 3/8" to allow the screws to reach the threads. (Not a major issue.)

Once installed, I noticed the backrest was not level and leaned to the left, which will bother me every time I see the bike from behind.
